Urban Hub

Convene Asia Pacific National Societies, IFRC and key regional urban stakeholders to strengthen the Urban Hub network

  • Highlight the ongoing urban resilience work in the region
  • Identify National Societies capacities and needs for technical support
  • Introduce how the Urban Hub, as a regional platform, will support National Societies’ urban resilience pathways, knowledge sharing and peer exchange within and beyond. 

The Red Cross Red Crescent Research Consortium (RC3)

RC3 is a distributed network of research, academic or scientific entities and initiatives within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. It brings together each of their specific expertise and helps them join forces in supporting our Movement to achieve its goals and mission.

The Anticipation Hub

The Anticipation Hub is a platform to facilitate knowledge exchange, learning, guidance, and advocacy around anticipatory action both virtually and in person. The platform is hosted by the German Red Cross in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre with funding support from Germany's Federal Foreign Office. 

The Anticipation Hub brings together partners across the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, universities, research institutes, NGOs, UN agencies, governments, donors, and network initiatives.

Pursue joint leadership among National Societies and identify & solve key problem in Asia Pacific.

  • Enhance the impact and reach of Red Cross Red Crescent Society programs

  • Make recommendations to the IFRC on priority areas to position the organization as a leader by delivering the quality intervention
