The "RC3 Global Annual Meeting," jointly organized by the Korean Red Cross and the Red Cross Research Network (RC3), was successfully held from September 25 to 27 at the Seoul Office of the Korean Red Cross.

This meeting, the sixth annual event of RC3, brought together research institutions and experts from Red Cross and Red Crescent societies worldwide to share and discuss various research outcomes aimed at enhancing the professionalism and effectiveness of humanitarian activities.

The meeting served as an important turning point in exploring scientific approaches to various humanitarian issues such as climate change, disasters, and conflicts, and in providing better humanitarian support through collaboration with national Red Cross societies. The Korean Red Cross operates the Asia Pacific Disaster Resilience Centre, an International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) reference center, which focuses on disaster risk reduction in the Asia-Pacific region and strengthening community resilience. Additionally, the Korean Red Cross conducts various research and educational activities, including disaster education utilizing VR technology and climate resilience campaigns.
